Sr. Carmela Albano FdCC received her missionary mandate

On Saturday, October 15th. Sr. Carmela Albano FdCC received her missionary mandate together with 20 other departing missionaries, during the Missionary Vigil of the Diocese of Rome. The Crucifix which was given to her speaks for itself.

It was a joyful celebration with three fundamental steps:

Jesus has already come, and salvation has already reached the world

Forgiveness is already at work

The Lord is with us, and He gives us courage

“Missionaries are witnesses of God’s love in the world. The mission concerns everyone, we are all missionaries! What do I do with the gospel I have received? How do I testify to this? Am I taking risks or is the Gospel being silenced by my faith that has become mere routine?” With these words of the bishop, let us continue to question ourselves and pray for all missionaries.

Carmela returns to Togo where she has already been sent with a private mandate.

We Thank the Lord and Sr. Carmela!
